Anvil 33082 Pewter Tuscan Thumb Latch Features:
UK Wide Delivery | SIIS Ltd
'From the Anvil' pewter thumb latches are traditionally used on a ledge and braced door, a thumb latch set is a decorative door latch with a thumb-shaped lever. When the thumb-shaped lever is pressed down this operates a thumb bar that passes through the door, this lifts the latch bar on the opposite side causing it to open. The process by which the contrasting textures of this finish are created results in a rich appearance that sits well in characterful, rustic homes but also offers a contemporary alternative in more modern settings.
Our blacksmith thumb latches are hammered into shape from mild steel using the traditional manufacturing method of an anvil and fire. Thumb latches are usually used in conjunction with a tee hinge on traditional plank doors.
Supplied with matching SS wood screws.
